On Friday, September, 2021, Harold Ray Moore, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86. He was married to his wife, Mary Moore, for 57 years and a loving father to four children and loving grandfather to four grandchildren. Harold was born on August, 12, 1935, in Garrett, Kentucky. He was a retired member of the International Typographical Union and spent most of his adult life as a respected numismatics dealer and collector. His love for music was prevalent and often expressed through his ability to play the guitar. Traveling was a passion of his and a day of driving through "the country" was always on the top of his list. Harold never met a stranger and treated everyone that he ever encountered as an equal.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Coet and Francis Moore. His brothers and sisters, Robert Moore, Clarence Moore, Cleo Shiffer, Clara Hall, Loverta Moore, Mabel Hall, and Lawrence Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Moore. His children: Zona Moore, Duane Moore, Debra Moore, and Devin Moore. His grandchildren: Brennan Moore, Auston Moore, Zachary Johnson, and Lindsay Moore. Brother and sisters: Lannie Knott, Cluett Moore, Edna Conley, llene Scott, and Judy Moore.
