Harold Leamon Nelson

Harold Nelson age 87 passed away peacefully at his home February 12, 2016 with his children and grandchildren by his side. Preceded in death by parents Issac and Effie Nelson; brothers Carol, Arvel, and Charles Nelson. Survived by wife of 66 years, Dorothy Nelson; children Elaine “Bill” Vance, Ronnie and Penny Nelson; special friend Alberto Mendoza; grandchildren Scott “Jennifer” Vance, Jason Vance, Julie Long “Justin” and Ashley Isenberg “Kevan”; great-grandchildren John Michael, Preston, Isaiah, Parker, Jack, and Henry who he loved dearly; sisters, Wanda Hicks and Dean Ellison. Family and friends will meet 12:15pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Fort Sumter Cemetery for 1pm graveside service.
