Harold C. Hansard

Harold C. Hansard, age 67 of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2024.   

In his spare time, Harold enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and racing; he loved cars and animals, but it was his love and dedication to the Volunteers of the University of Tennessee that set him apart from everything else – Harold is and will always be a Tennessee Vol!

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Trula Hansard, and by his sister, Judy Kitts.  

Harold is survived by his children, Carrie Cox (Jesse), Bailey Hansard (Aaron Wyatt), and Clay Hansard (Samantha); grandchildren, Kason Hansard, Bentley Wyatt, Justin Wyatt, Annistyn Wyatt, Elijah Cox, Makenna Cox and Warner Hansard; siblings, Marjorie Graham (Bill), Cathy Plummer (Charles), Kyle Hansard (Belinda) and Doyle Hansard; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to list.  

The Hansard, Cox and Wyatt families will receive family and friends on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel.  (4131 East Emory Road, Knoxville, TN 37938).  Mr. Hansard will be laid to rest at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918. Reverend Tim Gupton, officiating.  

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
