Harold David Large, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away February 12, 2017. He was born on August 15, 1937 to Emmalee and Henry Large. He was a master plumber for over 50 years. Harold accepted the Lord and was Baptized in the spirit. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife and “Angel” of over 50 years Hazel Jane Thompson Large. Brother, Bob Large Sr. Sisters, Marjorie Long, Dorothy Chance and Joyce Carnes. Infant siblings, Ted and Anna Mae. Second wife of one and a half years, Shirley Jo Mynatt Large. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Teresa Large. Daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Bill Rose. Grandsons and wives: Eric and LeeAnn Large, Jason and Chelsey Large. Great-granddaughters, Destiny and Emma Large and Brooklyn Carter Large. Sisters, Wanda Large, Sybil Cagley and Gwen Wallace. Step-grandsons, Brent and Brandon Rose. Special friends, U.S. and Mazel Booker, Pat and Bill Buchanan and Shauna Roberts and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at New Gray Cemetery at 1:45pm Wednesday for graveside service at 2pm. Rev. Chester Hembree officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
