H. B. Carpenter

H. B. Carpenter, age 74, went to be with the Lord and other loved ones Monday, December 30, 2013. Member of Salem Baptist Church. He worked for KUB for 29 years and attended the University of Tennessee. Preceded in death by parents, Pat and Mattie Carpenter. Survivors include wife of 54 years, Eleanor H. Carpenter; children, Scott Carpenter of Maryville, Doug Carpenter and wife Deanna of Knoxville, Traci Carpenter of Athens; grandchildren, Travis, Holly, Miranda, Ryan, and Bradley Carpenter. Funeral service 7:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. John Holland officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel
