Gregory “Greg” Allen Leach, age 50, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Greg was the best daddy, husband, brother, and son. He loved his girls with all his heart. He was the protector, provider, and bear hugger. He enjoyed his daily calls with Brandi, his weekend trips to the ball field with Mo, and riding his Harley with his wife and with the motorcycle club that he loved dearly (KVLEMC), or sitting at the firepit looking at the stars. Greg was a dedicated truck driver for Old Dominion Freight Line. Prior to driving a truck, he was a hospital officer at Children’s, St. Mary’s, and Baptist. Those who knew Greg knew he loved big, if you were in his circle, you were family. He worked hard and played hard. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Ruth Leach, and brother-in-law James Headrick. He is survived by loving wife, Stephanie Leach; daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Dillon Smith; daughter, Madelyn “Mo” Leach; Furbaby, Bella; Grand puppies, Grizzley, Foxie, and Daisy; father, Dale “Pete” Leach; mother and father-in-law, Carl and Deborah Jenkins; brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Karen Leach; brother, Jeffery Leach; sister, Debbie Headrick; sister-in-law, Mary Phillips (Brian), Brother-in-law, Rusty Jenkins (Bethany); nieces and nephews Bradley and Liz Headrick, Jason and Christina Leach, Tiffany and Timmy Warwick, Marieve (Jake) Webb, Lexie Jenkins, Cole Jenkins; great nephews, Peyton Warwick, Matthew Leach, Jase Leach; many special aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved dearly; and special friends that loved like brothers, Steve “Bo” Bohanan, Matt and Lindsey Swain, Eddie Tremonti, Brent Hill, and Butch Truan. Pallbearers include, Darrell Leach, Brent Hill, Steve “Bo” Bohanan, Rusty Jenkins, Will Ferrell, Timmy Warwick, and Jeff Leach; Honorary Pallbearers include, Eddie Tremonti and Matt Swain. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel, with service to follow at 7:00pm, officiated by, Rev. Randy Singleton. Family and friends will meet 10:00am, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, for procession to Bells Campground Cemetery, for an 11:00am interment.
