Golda Margaret “Mamaw” Rhea, age 89, formerly of Knoxville, passed away October 28, 2015. She was a member of Airport Blvd Baptist Church of Mobile, Alabama and attended Salem Baptist Church. She was a strong, loving and nurturing woman. Preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Earl Jackson; parents, Charles Hamilton and Amanda Z. Smith. Survived by children, Mike and Patti Rhea, Debbie and Cotton Lane, Cheryl and David Lane, Lauren and Jim Estes, Melani and Randy Henry, Brian and Susie Rhea and Aaron Rhea; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and beloved dog, Jazzi. Funeral service 8 pm Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Dr. Leonard Markham officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:15pm Tuesday at the funeral home and proceed to Little Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery for 1 pm interment service.
