Glessie Reeder

September 28, 1934 — January 16, 2019

Glessie T. Reeder, age 84 left this life peacefully on January 16, 2019. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Brady Reeder. Glessie thanked him every day for his love and support. She was a long-time member of Fountain City Presbyterian Church and actively volunteered in the church until she was stricken with dementia. Preceded in death by son Dave Harmon, brother James Thompson, sister MaryLou (Gerald) Collins, and brother-in-law Danny Tribbell. Glessie leaves her daughter Brenda (Matt) McCloud, sister-in-law Virgie Thompson, brothers Bill (Ora) Thompson and Bobby (Denise) Thompson, sister Ruby Tribbell, daughter-in-law Kim Harmon, grandchildren Joe Gideon, Jennifer and Katrina Harmon, and great grandchildren Trevor, Addison and Norin. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Sunday, January 20, 2019 with a service to follow at 6:00 pm, Grady Parsons officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm interment at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, January 21, 2019. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
