Gilbert L. Brock

Rev. Gilbert L. Brock, age 64, of Maynardville, made his final move to his heavenly home on February 10, 2017. He was a longtime truck driver and a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy & Larsenne Brock; and brother, Tommy Brock. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Eula Sue Brock; daughter, Wendy and special son-in-law Jason Sweet; son, Gilbert Ray Brock; adopted daughter, Sarah (Jimmy) Wyrick; adopted grandchildren: Kayla Mulryan, Jacob Wyrick, Za’riyah Brown, Charity Sweet, and Spencer Clapp; soon to come great grandchild, Peyton Mulryan; brothers, Earl (Imy) Brock, and Dallas (Debbie) Brock; sisters, Tammy (Bryan) Shell, Sandy McBee, Anna Ruth (Ron) Vella; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thanks to Angie Cash, Sally Huffaker, and Nurse Donna with Tennova Hospice. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 6-8pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with service to follow at 8pm. Rev. David Cash and Rev. Brad Huffaker officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday, February 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Hines Creek Cemetery for interment at 11am.
