Gerrell Albert Heard

Gerrell Albert Heard, age 82 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Bishop Albert Heard and Dessie Heard; siblings, Carl and Bruce Heard, Mamie Heard Mays, Fern Heard Nolan, Odis Brumley and brother, James Heard who joined him in heaven October 24th, 2016. Survived by children, Anthony Bishop Heard and Denise, Lisa Heard Hickson and Dwayne; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Joshua, Aaron, and Alexander; great-grandson, Bastion; sister, Linda Beck and Dwayne; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with memorial service to follow, Rev. Keith Weaver and Rev. Wayne Davis officiating.
