Geraldine Dawson

Geraldine Weaver Dawson, age 76, passed away, Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Summit View Nursing Home of Lake City. She was a member of Highland View Baptist Church in Knoxville. She is preceded in death by parents, Paul and Stella Elizabeth Turner Weaver, sisters, Carrie Sweet, Myrtle Dawson and Pearl Davis; brothers, Lonas, Bill, Bennett and Earl Weaver. Survived by daughter and son in law, Connie and Gary Warwick, Caryville, son, Gary Dawson, Caryville, grandchildren, Melissa and Tommy York, Caryville, Haley Dawson, Jacksboro and Julie Farner, Knoxville, sister, Clara Ketron, Knoxville. Geraldine was a sweet, gentle lady who adored her family and friends. She enjoyed cleaning and taking care of her family. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Summit View Greenbrier Unit Staff for the love and care they gave to Geraldine during her time there. Service, 8:00 p.m., Friday, Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain City, Rev. Charles Covington officiating.
