Gerald Edward Maddron

Gerald Edward Maddron, age 78, was called home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2018. Gerald was a faithful follower of his Lord Jesus Christ and a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He was a huge sports enthusiast and loved UT football. He is preceded in death by parents Calace and Beulah Maddron; and sister Sue Cleveland. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years LaVerne; daughter Michelle (Keith) Byrd; son Rocky (Sandy) Maddron; sister Sandra (Dan) Price; grandchildren Ashley (Matt) Beeler, Kayla (Ondes) Webster, Karri (Chris) Armstrong; great grandchildren Pacey Jones and Kinsley Webster; and a host of extended family and friends. Pallbearers Keith Byrd, Ondes Webster, Chris Armstrong, Dan Price, Donnie Fawver, and Matt Beeler. Family will receive friends for a celebration of life from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow, Larry Woods officiating.
