Gerald F. “Jerry” Clark, age 83 of Knoxville, passed away November 11, 2021. He was a graduate of Central High School class of 1958. Jerry had degrees from both the University of Tennessee and Lincoln Memorial University. Jerry served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was also a member of Bright Hope Lodge 557 Free & Accepted Masons and Kerbela Shrine. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and also attended Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. He retired from TDOT as a civil engineer after 43 years. He will be remembered as an avid golfer, a UT sports fan, and a lover of outdoors and traveling. Preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Dora Clark, siblings: Louise Clark Norman, Willie Bell (Billie) Clark Coluzzi, William Lawrence Clark Jr, Bonnie Ogle Clark. Survived by wife Ann Clark, children Brian (Tammy) Clark, Ryan (Kim) Clark, Barry Clark (Sandra Kennedy), stepson Chuck Keating, stepdaughter Diane (Mark) Rutledge, grandchildren Maylea (Ryan), Jenna (Peyton), Jessa (Jordan), Jeremiah, Cody (Stephanie), Dillan (Lyndsey), Chris (Lauren), Caitlin, Noah, Chelsea, and Brandon, William, Rachel, David great-grandchildren Houston, Lainey, Nolan, Maybree, Reed, and Boone, sister Phyllis (Stanley) Cline, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Jeff Brooks officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Fairview Baptist Church for an 11:00am interment.
