Georgia Faye McKee

Georgia (Hobby) McKee, age 80, of Powell, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Preceded in death by parents, Cas and Agnes Hobby; granddaughter, Jessica Martin; brother, Glen Hobby.

Survived by husband of 55 years, Clayton McKee, Jr.; daughters, Connie Martin, Angie Brown (Dale); grandchildren, Rob Martin (Betty), Chris and Cheyenne Martin, Alex Brown (Lilli); 8 precious great grand babies that she loved with all her heart; brother, Cas (Buster) Hobby, Jr (Crystal).

The family would like to thank their wonderful family and caring neighbors for the love and support and suppers that were brought to the house during the time of their loved ones passing. Also, a very special thank you to niece, Cassie Parker, for sitting with the family during their mom’s final days. 

Family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 12:45pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for an 1:00pm graveside service officiated by Rev. Billy Moore. Pallbearers will be Rob Martin, Chris Martin, Alex Brown, Braylyn Martin, CJ Hobby and Bryan Parker.
