Georgia Lee Shearl

Georgia Ellis Shearl, age 81 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2013 where she was greeted by her loving husband of 55 years, Ernest Shearl and parents, George & Mary Ellis. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. She was employed by Standard Knitting Mills for many years, and then supervised dining rooms and was hostess for area restaurants, including Regas and Best Western Campus Inn. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law Debbie & Ron Lawson, grandchildren Michael & Alethea Lawson, Kelly & Ronnie Adams, Jenna Lawson & Christopher Darnbush, great-grandsons Andruw Lawson, Gage Campbell, Zarley Lawson, brother Bob Ellis, sister Nadine Bell, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City with Rev. Mark McGill officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM Wednesday at Highland Memorial West for interment at 10 AM. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
