Georgia Dixon Lambdin Loy, age 100, departed this life and entered into eternal life Sunday, December 26, 2021, at her home in Andersonville, Tennessee. She was born September 30, 1921, in the state of Kentucky. She was saved at age 16 during Decoration Day at the grave yard of Blue Hollow Baptist Church, KY.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Eliza Jane Dixon Hurst and George Dixon; step-dad, Joe Hurst; husbands, Ancil Lambdin and Lester Loy; sons, J.R. Lambdin, KY, Richard Lambdin and Alfred Lambdin, TN; "adopted" son, Rev. Kenny Bean; daughter-in-law, Myrtle Lambdin, TN; brothers, 2 sets of Twins, Jesse Dixon, Elijah Hurst, Pete Hurst, Sherman Hurst, Matt Hurst all of KY and George Washington Hurst, OH; sisters, Little Annie Hurst, KY, Edna Partin and Hallie Gibson, OH, Joie Stanfill and Clementine Reed, TN; and special nephew, Sterling Partin, FL.
She is survived by her daughters, Janie Biddix (Bill), GA, Joni Webb (Sam), Joyce Tudor (Gary), Zelda Hayes (Sidney) and Patricia Lambdin, TN; daughters-in-law, Sophie Lambdin, KY, Betty Bean and Mary Graves, TN; grandchildren, Jerry Lambdin (Norma) KY, Brock Lambdin (Tonia) TN, Rickie Dixon (Vanessa) KY, J.R. Dixon (Valerie) TN, Elizabeth Kishpaugh (Ken) KY, Timmy Lambdin (Teresa) and Rev. James Lambdin (Susan) TN, David Weaver (Odilia), Melvin Davis (Tina), Robert Davis and Georgia Jane Partin (Mark) GA, Eric Webb (Tracy) and Eliot Webb (Kimberly) TN, Jamie Lambdin, Melissa Hurst (David), Tracey Powell (Stan), Georgia Christine “Christy” Howard (Rev. Justin Howard) and Rev. Jacob Hayes (Jessica) TN; 40 great grandchildren; 37 great-great grandchildren, 4 great great great grandchildren and countless others who honored her as their "Mamaw Georgie”; and many nephews and nieces whom she
dearly loved.

A very special thanks to her friend, Cathy Mannix of Ohio who called every day and her niece, Patsy Hurst Miracle, who faithfully wrote letters of love each week.
She was a faithful member of Byrams Fork Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She was an inspiration in life to many and instilled in her children to "push through, get up even when you don't feel like getting up." She will be GREATLY missed.
Friends may call at their convenience on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 10:00am until 5:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 9:45am at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Friday, December 31, 2021 to go in procession to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 122 Mount Pleasant Rd., Andersonville, TN for a 10:30am graveside service officiated by Rev. James Lambdin and Rev. Justin Howard. Special singing will be provided by Carl Fraker. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lambdin, Rickie Dixon, Tim Lambdin, David Weaver, Eliot Webb, & Jacob Hayes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brock Lambdin, J.R. Dixon, Tyler Lambdin, Andy Lambdin, Melvin Davis, Robert Davis and Eric Webb.
