Georgia Clara Jennings

Georgia Clara Jennings, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2022. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. She loved to draw and color pictures. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Jennings; and the father of her children, Frank Dykes. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Terry) Dykes Gant, Mikey (Katie) Dykes, Alice (Tony) Grant, Anna (Kareem) Love; daughter-in-law Cyndi Wadsworth, step-sons Hobert Jennings II and James Jennings; grandchildren, Tiffany (Alec) Jones, Ashton (Nick) James, Ashley (Josh) Beam, Jessica (Colby) Dykes, Brianna Stoutamire, Jaron (Summer) Stoutamire, Mark Grant Jr., Mykel Grant, Treyana Gully & Jarick Campbell, and Riana and Saria; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine Mei, Jamyrah, Victoria, Alasia, Zella, Zi-Lahn, Brier, Ever, Everleigh and Everett. She has raised many more children all of Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a 2:00pm service to follow, Pastor Barnett officiating. Family and friends will then meet at 8:15am on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for an 8:30am interment service. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
