Gearldine Berry was born into this world on a snowy day, weighing approx. 2.5 lbs. Kept alive by a wood stove used as an incubator. She leaves behind a loving husband of 55 years, Reverend Oscar Berry, two children, an adopted son, many grandchildren, and one great-Grandchild. Called mammaw to most, Gearldine made a lasting impression on all that knew her. With her husband she was a founding member of Paradise Transportation as well as several other successful businesses. She supported her husband, loved her children, and taught her grandchildren the value of family. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 pm on Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Milan Cemetery 145 PM Monday for a graveside service at 2 PM.
