Gayle Carroll

Gayle Carroll, age 83, of Knoxville and formerly of Princeton, WV, passed away on January 29, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Princeton, West Virginia and worked many years at Concord College and Bluefield College. She was a longtime member at Melrose Presbyterian Church and current member of Norris United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by sister Nancy Bowen. She is survived by children Micki Carbaugh, Pam Barthel and husband Kevin, and Kathy Stout and husband Steve; sister Minta Carper and husband Bill; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with Pastor Matthew Stout officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM, Wednesday, at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Billy Kurtz officiating.
