Gary Rucker

Gary “Guy” Rucker, 83, born September 29, 1937, passed away on March 14, 2021, at his home in Corryton, TN. He was a faithful member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. Guy was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1957 to 1961. Preceded in death by parents Conley and Johnnie Bell Rucker; sons Shayne and Gary Rucker; brothers Ronnie and Jerry Rucker; first wife Faye. Survived by loving wife Judy Pratt Rucker; daughter-in-law Tracey Rucker; step-children Jeanie Haley Bittle (Scott), Tim Pratt (Susie), and Angie Pratt; grandchildren Jaime Smith (Eric), Jessie Messer (Andrew); Chris Pratt (Megan); Clifton Haley (Heather); Curtis Haley (Tosha); great-grandchildren Zoe and Tucker Smith, Trevor Rowe, Lucy Pratt, Georgia and Joel Haley, Gage and Gavin Haley. Friends may call at their convenience 10:00am – 6:00pm Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family will then receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, at which time funeral services will be held. Dr. Jeff LaBorg and Dr. Jerry Vittatoe will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Friday, March 19, 2021, at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00am interment.
