Gary Lynn Graybeal, a beloved member of the Halls community, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024 at the age of 68. Gary was born on May 29, 1956; he was known for his passion in Jesus Christ, the outdoors, and dedication to his work. Gary was a true friend to all and a cherished member of Atkins Baptist Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life. As an avid hunter, Gary found joy in the great outdoors. His love for nature was evident in the many hunting trips he took, often sharing these cherished moments with family and friends. Gary was also a respected co-owner of Grable Roofing Company.
Proceeded in death by: The love of his life Connie; mother, Berniece (Thomas) Cowart; brothers, Tommy and Johnny Cowart; sister, June Woods.
Survived by his loving family, Kimberly (Michael) Patrick; beloved Aunt Betty McMillan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev. Larry Woods. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel for a procession to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 for an 11:00 AM interment.
Pallbearers: Tyler Pinion, Bradly Cowart, Eathen Patrick, Devon Bolton, Randy Buckner and Fred Daniels.
Rest in peace, Gary. Your spirit and love will live on in all who were blessed to know you.
