Gary Dean Phillips

Gary Dean Phillips, age 48, died tragically on March 14, 2017 in Rockwall, Texas. He attended Halls High School Class of 1986. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, University of Tennessee Football and his family and friends. He was employed by US Express and loved being a truck driver. Gary is preceded in death by his father Ronald Phillips. Survived by his son Joseph Phillips and daughter Tiffany Phillips both of Knoxville, TN; grandson Jacob Joyner; Dad & Mom, Randy & Joyce Smith; brother and sister-in-law Mike & Sandy Phillips of Knoxville, TN; many cousins; and life- long friends. Gary had a special companion and sidekick Micky. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated in Gary Phillips name to Young Williams Animal Shelter of Knoxville TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, 4131 E. Emory Road, Knoxville TN 37938.
