Garry Lynn Daniel

Garry Lynn Daniel age 71 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025.  He was a graduate of Gibbs High School, veteran of the U.S. Navy, and retired from the University of Tennessee Campus.  He loved music and playing the guitar.  Preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Harry (Red) Daniel.  Survivors; son, Joshua (Josh) Daniel; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Jason Sands; companion, Kathy Goldbeck; grandsons, J. D. and Spencer Sherrod; sister, Pat Inman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier) for a 2:00 p.m. committal service, chaplain Dave May officiating and with full military honors provided by the East Tennessee State Veterans Honor Guard.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
