Frederick Raymond Krouse, age 78 of Knoxville, passed away after a long illness August 14, 2014. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and Phil Lovorn’s Sunday School Class. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Retired from Fidelity Insurance Company in 1998 as an Engineer. He enjoyed life, loved to travel, take pictures, attend gatherings, eat good food, camp, and loved spending time with his family. Preceded in death by parents, Frederick and Thelma Krouse. Survived by wife of 30 years, Cora Elizabeth Krouse; daughter, Karie Krouse Erskine (John); step-children, Steve Bacon (Leslie), Deborah Neuhaus (Herb), Calvin Bacon (Chris), grandchildren, Katie, Erin, and Donavon; step-grandchildren, Brian, Lindsey, John, Kimmie, Max, and Olivia; sister, Judy and Jim Morris; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and J.B. Dalton; 2 nephews and a niece. Special thanks to caregivers Larry and Pam Smith. Celebration of Life service will be held 3:30 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Dr. Alan Price and Dr. Charles Earl officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the future needs of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 4328 E. Emory Road, Knoxville, TN 37938. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:30 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
