Fred Shropshire

Fred Shropshire, age 69, of Andersonville, passed away February 3, 2017. He was born January 1, 1948 to the late Walter & Marie Shropshire. He retired from KUB as a Machine Operator after 40 years of dedicated service. He was also co-owner of Ray, Fred, and John’s Tree Service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Marie Shropshire; brother, Paul Shropshire and Charlie Shropshire; sister, Nora Hall; brother, Donald Shropshire; and sister, Shirley Shropshire. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beverly Shropshire; daughter, Heather Shropshire; grandsons, T.J. and Dalton Harness; sisters, Barbara Ridenour and her husband Johnny, and Sue Turner and her husband Larry; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friends, Ray, John, Ed & Kathy, Jerry & Nanette, Michael, James, Billy, Tom, Jody, and Keith. The family will receive friends 5-8pm Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with service to follow at 8pm, with Rev. Allen Giles officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at New Home Cemetery in Andersonville for a graveside service at 11am.
