Fred (Henry) Russell, age 74, passed away August 11, 2013. He was born August 15, 1938. He was the owner and operator of Knoxville Grave Services for over 30 years. He was a charter member of Riverdale Saddle Club and was a judge for many years for the Racking Horse Association. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Henry was preceded in death by his father Sammie Glenn Russell. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Teresa Russell, son Brad Russell, daughter Susan Miller (Joe) of Knoxville, grandchildren David and Chris Miller, three great-grandchildren, mother Florence Russell of Knoxville, brothers Glen (Doris) of Griffen, GA, Robert (Bonnie) of Kodak, Sammie Jr. (Polly) of Vonore, Jimmy (Virginia), and John (Linda) of Knoxville, sisters Cricket Bishop (Cecil) of Strawberry Plains, Ruby Riddle (Jim) of New Market, Bonnie Riddle (Ronnie) of Knoxville, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Jack Sauceman, Chris Rule, as well as many more. Funeral service will be 8 PM Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Bobby Province officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Thursday at Thorngrove Cemetery for interment at 11 AM. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
