Frankie Simmons

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Frankie Rogers Simmons, and we find comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior and her husband of 60 years, Don, who passed away in 2021. Frankie was a 1958 graduate of Rule High School and was retired from Bell South.

Those left to mourn her passing are her children, Leigh Ann Gibson, Doug Simmons (Sandra), grandchildren Tyler Simmons (Ashley), Autumn Colegrove (Brandon), and Chaya Gibson; great-grandchildren Elijah Simmons, Lucas Simmons, Ellie Colegrove, and great granddaughter Zoey Simmons due later this month; sister Judy Keener (Wayne), brother Jim Rogers (Norma), nephew Tony Keener (Jane), niece Melissa Keener. She leaves behind a multitude of friends and family. Pallbearers; Jim Rogers, Tony Keener, Will Mitchell, Brandon Colegrove, Jacky Blair, and Greg Pratt. Honorary pallbearers Wayne Keener and Jerry Adkins.

 The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 5, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel from 11:00am to 1:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm officiated by Rev. Dean Braden. A graveside service to immediately follow at New Gray Cemetery.
