Frank Clifford Brock age 74 of Fountain City passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He attended Ridgeview Baptist Church. He retired from Southern Railroad as a brakeman. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam as a combat engineer, 4th Infantry Division, Steadfast and Loyal. Avid hunter and fisherman. Preceded in death by parents, Phyllis and John “Andy” Brock. Survivors include his wife Brenda (Monhollen) Brock, the love of his life for 55 years; daughter Debbie Brock, son Jason “Boo” Brock (Stephanie); grandchildren: James, Jasmine, Jaida and Lakin; grandchildren by love, Kristin, Alissa and Gabby; great grandchild by love, Raelyn, special fur baby Fergus, brother John Brock (Cathy), sister, Martha Hutton (Rick) along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Zachary McGill. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm on Friday, August 13, 2021 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier) for a 12:30 committal service with full military honors. Pallbearers: Jason Brock, James Dunn, Geoff Brock, Gregg Brock, Jerry Baer and Rick Hutton. Honorary pallbearers: Dwight Mundy, Doc Phillips, P.D. Thompson, Randy Beaty, and David Adams.
