Gentry, Frances Willodean (Dean) McCloud, born July 26, 1935, passed away into eternal rest June 10, 2014. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a kind, loving, and giving person and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She always put others before herself. Preceded in death by husband John Calvin Gentry; parents Rev. Charles and Lorene McCloud; brother Charlie McCloud. Survived by sisters Nina and husband Bobby Branson, Joyce and husband Rev. Tom Chadwick, and Glenda McCloud; sister-in-law Shirley McCloud; nieces Kimberly Branson, Sherry and husband Mike Simon, Kelly and husband Brian Miles, Kristi and husband Kelly Burns; nephew Steven Branson; nephew by marriage John Diehl; life-long friend Judy Asbury; special friends Sheila and Wally Brogan and Aubie Nelson, as well as a host of many other friends and loved ones. Pallbearers: John Diehl, Steve Branson, Mike Simon, Joe Nelson, Phillip Harnik, and Sterchi Morton. Funeral service will be 8pm Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Lester Mullins, Rev. Tom Chadwick, and Rev. Tim Wallace officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City to proceed to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery for 2pm interment. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
