Frances R. Woodward

Frances R. Woodward, age 88, of Knoxville passed away February 13, 2016. She was a member of Black Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She retired from Levi Strauss and volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital for over 20 years. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone she knew. She welcomed everyone into her home. She will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by husband Charles B. Woodward; son, Wayne Woodward; several brothers and sisters. Survived by daughters Sharon Treece and Brenda Cooper and husband Byron; granddaughters, Kristi Sims and Lyndi Arms; great-granddaughter Mallori Jade; sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Kyle Weaver and other extended family. Special thank you to Ridgeview Terrace for their love, support, and care for the past 2 years. Service will be 7:30pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Kyle Weaver officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45pm Thursday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 2pm interment.
