Yearwood, Forrest Lynn - age 76 of Halls, entered the gates of Heaven to reside forever more with his Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. He was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church of Halls. He was a Halls High School graduate class of 1962. He retired as a Chemical Engineer and Engineering Technician from Oak Ridge. He worked and made lasting friends at Ryder Truck Rentals, Southern Leasing, Freightliner of Knoxville, and Fisher Auto. He was also the proud former owner of GoodTimes where he was a father figure and loved by many kids. Lynn loved and refurbished hot rods ranging from a 1928 Whippet to a 1965 GTO and everything in between. His favorites were a 1956 Sedan Delivery and his 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck. Preceded in death by his mother, Lassie Cordelia Hill Yearwood, father, William Henry Yearwood, brother, Emery James Wootson Yearwood, and sister, Pawnee D Yearwood Cechini. Left to cherish his memories are: Devoted wife, Betty Yearwood, sister, Clea Patri Yearwood Joseph and husband Robert Joseph, sons and daughter-in-laws, Kevin and Amanda Yearwood and Jason and Karen Crumley Yearwood, Daughter and son-in-laws, Brandi and David Singleton and Sabrina and Matthew Brackfield, Grandsons Tyler, Dale, Zach, Maddox and Ethan, and many loved nieces and nephews and extended family. Dr. Thomas Haskins III MD and staff. Friends may call at their convenience from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will gather at 11:45am on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel for a 12:00pm funeral service, Rev. Gary Vandergriff officiating, and then proceed to Union Baptist Church Cemetery for interment.
