Fay Swain Scott, age 85, passed from this life May 14, 2015 in Halls Crossroads, TN. She was born in Lenarue, KY March 15, 1930. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Halls Crossroads, TN. There, before her serious illness, she was an active member of the WMU and in the past had been active with vacation bible school and many other church activities. She loved camping, swimming, the beach, and collecting seashells and unusual rocks. She loved her family and often cooked for large groups at family gatherings. She leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, Herbert L. Scott; two daughters, Glenda Kay Woolums and husband Mike, and Gloria Scott Ogilvie and husband Garry; son, Gerald Lee Scott and wife Susan; grandchildren, Gerri Scott Hobbs, Melissa Scott, TJ Smith, John Woolums, Christina Woolums Collier, Valerie Ogilvie McVey, and Jeanette Ogilvie; great grandchildren, Caroline Collier, Adam Collier, John Michael Woolums, Jelsie Woolums, and Sean Hobbs; sisters, Flora Mae Hicks and husband Darrell, Delores Mitchell and husband Bill, and Barbara Hawkins; and brother, Paul Swain and wife Eleanor. Also surviving are special other loved ones, Brandon Smith, Brandon Humfleet, Cassie Bowling, and Linda Fain. Visitation will be held 3-6 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow. A graveside service will be held 3 PM Monday at Jellico Creek Cemetery in Jellico Creek, KY.
