KINAMON, FANNYE HARGIS – age 96, went home to be with the Lord, March 15, 2013. Fannye was born in Knoxville, TN on Dec. 10, 1916. She was an active member of Cross Roads Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. Fannye graduated from Central High School and St. Mary’s Nursing School as an L.P.N. She worked on the surgical floor of St. Mary’s for many years, later worked at the East Tennessee Chest Disease Hospital, and then returned to St. Mary’s on a part-time basis. Fannye loved nursing and helping her patients. She also enjoyed attending church, Bible study, cooking, baking, reading, gardening, sewing and working crossword puzzles, and spending time with her loving family and precious pets. She is preceded in death by her parents Bessie and Charles Hargis, her wonderful husband of 50 years, Murray Luther Kinamon (Bill), her loving son Victor Murray Kinamon, and her infant grandson Karll Murray Kinamon. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Tom Rogers; her daughter-in-law Karen Harden and her husband Chuck; her grandchildren: Kariann Kinamon, Merry Rogers Alexander and husband Kevin, Kristen Case and husband Paul, and Kirk Kinamon and wife Lindsey. She also was the proud great Granma to Tyler and Cory Cate, Matthew Case, Hailey and Gracie Hatmaker, and Mckenna Kinamon. The family wishes to express their thanks to Brakebill Nursing Home, Physicians Regional Medical Center, and Tennova Hospice for their loving care during her illnesses. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18 at 7 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Pastor Bob Schultz, Chaplin at Brakebill Nursing Home, officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home and proceed to Roseberry Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11 AM interment service with associate pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, Rev. Charla Sherbakoff officiating. Kirk Kinamon, Chuck Harden, Paul Case, Kevin Alexander, Mickey Rogers, and Larry Dunn will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Hall Chapel.
