Eugene Johnson

Eugene Johnson, born February 8, 1933, passed away on October 6, 2018. He was a very caring and loving man who did not know a stranger and put everyone before himself. He was a veteran and loved his country very much. The light of his eyes were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by wife and soulmate of 55 years, Esther M. Johnson (Thurman). He is survived by children Darlene Lusby and husband Bruce Bright, Jeff Johnson and wife Angela, Michael Johnson; grandchildren Johnathan Johnson and wife Chauntae, Ashley Lusby, Kendra Lusby, Billy Johnson; great grandchildren Kya Johnson, Chloe Lusby, Mason Johnson, Tucker Johnson, Oakley Johnson; brother Hugh Thurman and wife Brenda; nephew Jason Thurman and wife Chrissy, great nephew Caleb Thurman, and niece Shawna Cahill. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
