Eugene "Bill" Roberts

Eugene “Bill” Roberts, age 74 of Knoxville, passed away January 13, 2018. He was a member of Old Pleasant Gap Baptist Church, as well as, an Army and Navy veteran. Bill was a loving husband and a wonderful father and papaw to many. Preceded in death by parents Alberta and William Roberts; 5 brothers; son-in-law Larry F. Roberts Jr. Survived by wife of 53 years Priscilla Roberts; children Lisa Michelle Roberts, Arden Eugene Roberts, Valerie Lazo (Fransisco), and Marshall Crowe; grandchildren Stephanie Lindsey (Timothy), Chrystina Thompson, Peyton Wilson, and Chelsea Wilson; great-grandchildren Kelsi, Alaya, Braylon, Serenity, and Eli; sisters Judy Steedley and Diane Cash; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends will meet 9:15a.m. Thursday January 18, 2018 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for 9:30a.m. graveside service, Rev. Rick Murphy, Rev. Phillip Hayes, and Rev Archie Russell officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday January 17, 2018 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
