Esther Marie Johnson

Esther Marie Johnson, went to be with the Lord May 26, 2013. Member of John Sevier Baptist Church. She was a very caring and loving woman who did not know a stranger. She put everyone before herself. Survived by husband and soul mate of 55 years, Eugene Johnson; children, Darlene Lusby and husband Bruce Bright, Jeff Johnson and wife Angela, Michael Johnson; grandchildren, Jonathan Johnson and wife Chauntae, Ashley Lusby, Kendra Lusby, Billy Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kya Johnson, Chloe Lusby, Mason Johnson; brother, Hugh Thurman and wife Brenda; nephew, Jason Thurman; great nephew, Caleb Thurman. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for 2:00 pm graveside service with Rev. David Trent officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research. Special thanks to Fort Sanders Regional and Dr. Kenneth Cofer for their outstanding care. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
