Essie Wright

Katie Daniels Wright, born November 1, 1923, passed away July 20, 2018. She was a member of Bible Way Baptist Church in Knoxville. After moving to Harriman, Harriman Church of God ministered to Mrs. Wright that resulted in many lasting friendships. Preceded in death by her husband Earl Wright; parents Tom and Georgia Saul; brothers James and Tom; sisters Lily Mae and Mary Lynn, son William (Bill) Daniels. Survived by sons and daughters-in-laws, Tom and Kitty Daniels of Kingston, Jewell Daniels of Luttrell, James (Johnny) and Barbara Daniels (missionaries in Puerto Rico), and Charles and Cindy Wright of Georgia; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; nieces Mary Jo Saul, Barbara Jeanie Evans Underwood and Juanita Webb, nephew Jack Evans. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, service to follow Pastor James Daniels, Pastor Johnny Daniels, Bro. Jack Evan and Chuck Wright officiating services. Family and friends will meet for burial on Friday, July 27, 11:00 AM at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Grandsons and great-grandsons Lynn and Gene Daniels, Chris Wright, Will Wright, Jody Daniels, Zach White will serve as pallbearers.
