Ernest Frank "Ernie" Pelle

Ernest Frank “Ernie” Pelle, age 82 of Powell, went to be with the Lord November 23, 2013. Ernie’s hometown was Chagrin Falls, Ohio and then he moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 29 and then retired to Powell, Tennessee. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, retired postman, and a Korean War Veteran. Preceded in death by son, David Pelle; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Petras Pelle; brothers, Charlie, Johnny, Eddie, Stephen, and William Pelle. Survived by wife, Joan (Fran) Pelle; son, Robert Pelle; daughter, Susan Hart and husband William; grandchildren, Kathy Cohoon and husband Tony, Justin King, Chad Pelle, John Strothers, Lindsay King; great-grandchildren, Izaiah and Aiden Cohoon; and several nieces and nephews. Rosary 4:00 pm Tuesday, December 3rd at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Wednesday, December 4th at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Family and friends will meet 12:30 pm Monday, December 9th at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway for 1:30 inurnment.
