Erma Lee Cardwell Watkins, age 93, of Knoxville, passed away at home March 24 With her family by her side. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Cecil Watkins Sr., son, Cecil Junior, & daughter Peggy. Parents, Boyd & Mossie Cardwell, Sisters, Dorothy, Wanda, Bobbie, Sonja. Brothers, Wayne & Ronnie. She is survived by her children, Linda (Jim) Faulkner, Mary Zachary. Sandra (Dave)Singleton, Robert Watkins & Boyd (Teressa) Watkins. Grandchildren- Greg, (Gail) Faulkner, Rodney, (Denise) Faulkner, Julie Faulkner, Eddie, (Gray) Zachary, Carey, (Angie) Zachary, Karen, (Jeff) Headrick, Steve, (Mary) Sparks, David, (Jennifer) Singleton, & Brad, (Kirsten) Grey. 18 great grandchildren, & 1 Great-great grandchild & namesake Charlotte (Erma Lee) Lumpkin. Sisters, Yvonne, Brenda, Linda & Rose. Brother-in-law Carl (Boss) Watkins, and a host of nieces, nephews & cousins. She was a member of Callahan Rd. Baptist Church and the Fidelity Class which she loved very much. Erma Lee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. She will be missed greatly by all. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00 pm, Rev. Mark Sasser officiating. Friends and family will meet at 1:45 pm for a 2:00 pm interment on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery on Chapman Hwy. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
