Emma L. Crabtree

Emma Lee Crabtree, age 90, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully, Friday, October 26, 2012, after a lingering illness. She was lovingly known as “sweet granny” by her great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by father James, mother Janie, sister Helen, and brother James. Survived by sister, Doris Weaver. Sons, Sam (Beth) Giardina and Steve Crabtree. Daughter, Jamie (Don) Jones. Grandchildren, John (Natashya) Giardina, Gina Giardina, Monica (Ben) Warwick, Jason (Patricia) Jones, Holly (Chris) Pryor and Chad (Laura) Crabtree. Great-grandchildren: Luke, Olivia, Lilly, Emily, Lauren, Emma, Bowen, Abigail, Shelby and Harley. Nieces & nephews: Margaret Spangler, Dennis (Jana) Weaver, Sandy Weaver and many other family members including great nieces and nephews. Special friend, Jan Holloway. Funeral service 2 pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Rev. Geoff Prows officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers: Don Jones, John Giardina, Jason Jones, Chris Pryor, Ben Warwick, Chad Crabtree. Honorary pallbearer: Dennis Weaver. The family will receive friends 1-2 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel.
