Emma Jane Walker, age 16, of Knoxville, went to be with Lord November 21, 2016. She was a junior at Central High School, a member of the cheerleading squad, HOSA, BETA Club, and Young Life. Emma was a beautiful person with a caring soul. Loving and kind to everyone. Emma was preceded in death by grandfather Jim Kading, her great-grandparents, and most recently her great grandmother Georgia Clonelle “Nana” Jones. Survivors include parents Mark & Jill Walker, brother Evan Walker, grandparents Jane Kading & Mark Armstrong, Ronald & Judy Hill, and Bob & Debbie Walker, great grandmothers Betty Kading and Dorothy Evans, aunts Angie Hill & fiancé Randy Ferguson, Jenny Weldon & husband Michael, and Jodi Kading, cousins Grey & Georgia Weldon, and Lane & Caroline Ferguson. Pallbearers will be Evan Walker, Nathan Stamps, Bass Cooper, Nate Jones, Seth Armstrong, Zack Ellis, and Zack Greene. Jackie Raley and the CHS Cheer Team will be serving as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends 12-3 pm Saturday at Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Young Williams Animal Shelter or to the Emma Walker Memorial Fund at Regions Bank by going to youcaring.com. Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm with Reverend Josh Beeler officiating. Family and friends will then proceed to Hill Cemetery for interment following the service.
