Elva Lorene Berney Patterson Baker, of Knoxville, born June 2, 1919 and left to be with family August 11, 2013, age 94. Preceded in death by parents, Rosa Pearl and John Paul Berney all nine siblings and husbands, Roy A. Patterson and Oliver Baker. Son, John D. Patterson and grandson, Christian M. Holbrook. Survivors: Son, Ronald W. Patterson. Daughters, Rebecca D. Burge and husband, James D. Burge. Sandra L. Holbrook and husband, Jimmy D. Holbrook. 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Family & friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City at 12 noon Thursday and proceed to Anderson-Gouffon Cemetery for graveside service at 1pm. Rev. Bill Berry officiating. Pallbearers: Steven Patterson, Darryl Patterson, Jimmy Holbrook Jr., Brandon Holbrook, Drew Holbrook, Cooper Cruzen and Braylon Oliver. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to: New Salem United Methodist Church, 2417 Tipton Station Rd., Knoxville, Tn. 37920. Friends may call at their convenience at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
