Elsie “Granny” Stevens, age 79 of Halls, passed away July 16, 2012. Member of Salem Baptist Church and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Stevens. Survived by 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet 9:45 am Thursday at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery for 10:00 am graveside service. Dr. Frank Epperson and Rev. John Holland officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
