Elmer Wayne Mendenhall

On Friday night, March 26th, 2021, Buddy Wayne Mendenhall went to be with JESUS. Husband of 21 years to Lori Mendenhall and father of 6 living children, Theresa Howard, Shannon Heaton, Sasha Russell, Bobby Hayes, Eric Mendenhall, and Steve Mendenhall. He also had 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In his younger years he did quite a bit of Evangelizing. More than anything he loved the LORD! Later on, in life he was a Salesman in wholesale, mostly stores, auctions, and flea markets. His interests were spending all the time he could with his grandchildren, Cloi, Izabel, and Tyler. The rest of the time he enjoyed going to Church, Selling, Nascar, Horse racing, Boxing, Wrestling, and Dog racing He was preceded in death by his parents, Afton and Elmer Mendenhall, son Michael Mendenhall, brother, Danny Mandenhall, sisters, Bonnie Woods and, Linda Boone. He was survived by Janet Cook. He was a member of The Pillar and Ground of the Truth Church. Memorial Service May 2nd at 2:00pm will be held at The Pillar and Ground of the Truth Church, 3814 Oakland Drive Knoxville, TN 37918, officiated by Trent Nuchols.
