Ellois Parsons Linkous

Ellois Parsons Linkous, age 88, of Oak Ridge, passed away October 27, 2017. She was a member of Highland View Church of Christ. Ellois was a kind and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to paint the flowers and landscapes of Tennessee. Preceded in death by husband Alvin C. York Linkous; parents Lester and Minnie Richards Parsons; sisters Evelyn Bond, Louise Harris and Mildred Reitman; brothers Charles Parsons and Henry Parsons. Left to cherish her memory are sons Michael and wife Sandy Linkous, Randy and wife Beverly Hickman Linkous; grandchildren Zach Linkous, Bart Linkous, Elizabeth Sloan, Krysten Freeland and Dane Linkous; brother David Parsons. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee, Inc. East TN Office, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. Family and friends will meet 11:45AM Monday, October 30, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for 12PM interment. Family will receive friends 1-3PM Sunday, October 29, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountian City Chapel with funeral service to follow, Minister Curtis McClane officiating.
