Elizabeth R. Childress

Elizabeth R. Childress, 84, of Knoxville, TN passed away on November 10, 2020. Elizabeth was born in Knoxville, TN on May 24, 1936. She raised her family in Chattanooga TN, and returned to Knoxville after retirement. She was a kind and loving woman who will be missed by all who knew her. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Reece; and her daughter Sheryl Norwood. She is survived by her loving husband, Marshall Childress; Grandchildren Robert Norwood and wife, Roxanne; Amanda Norwood; Kelli Knight and husband, Ray. Son-in-law Dean Norwood (husband of the late Sheryl Norwood). Great Grandchildren: Preston, Skyler, and Savannah Norwood; Samuel Weston; Madison Payne; and Lola Knight. Family and friends will meet 10:45 Saturday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Maynardville, TN for a graveside service at 11:00AM.
