On May 12, 2022, Elizabeth Ann Lane Ogle met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ face to face and was reunited with the Love of her life, Jahu (John) Ogle, five days after their 69th wedding anniversary. She was born the fifth child of Elmer and Ida Lane on January 8, 1936. She spent her entire life in the Knoxville area, with the exception of a few months while accompanying her husband in the military. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had the gift of hospitality and loved cooking and serving others. She was a longtime member of Stonewall Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by beloved parents and brothers, Ralph, Bill, Jim, and Bob Lane; sister, Hazel Poe; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lewis and Mettie Ogle; and many beloved Ogle relatives. She is survived by loving sisters, Mae Archer and Eunice Morris; children, Don (Brenda) Ogle, Connie (Donald) Daniel, Sheila (Kenny) Monroe, and Jeff (Angela) Ogle; grandchildren, Stormy (Gina) Ogle and Matt (Lori) Ogle, Jennifer Daniel, Courtney (Jared) Flowers, Josh Monroe, Sara Ogle, and John Ogle; great-grandchildren, Mason, Brie, and Ethan Ogle; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express our heart felt gratitude to the wonderful staff of Trinity Hills Assisted living and Amedisys Hospice.
