Elizabeth Ann Crosby

Elizabeth Ann Crosby, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home on December 23, 2015 surrounded by her family. A member of Andersonville United Methodist Church, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose smile and laugh lit up every room she entered. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 54 years Samuel Irwin Crosby; children Neil (Elizabeth), Kevin (Sonya), Dawn George (Steven); grandchildren Kendall Weichold (Michael), Taylor, Emily (C.J. Whalen), Abigail, Will, Reagan, Riley, and Zach; great grandchildren Jacob, Elijah, Thomas, and Garrett. The family would like to recognize cousin Patricia Wayne, dear friends Elaine Daniels, Susan Gregory, Mary Paskell, Pat Albertini, Kristina Johnson, and Sandie Littleton for their tireless commitment to her care, granddaughter Kendall Weichold for making her grandmother feel safe and at peace in her final hours, and her faithful dog Bree, for her years of loving companionship. The family would also like to acknowledge Bennett Motor Express for their support during this difficult time. In Lieu of flowers, Elizabeth asked for donations to be made to Compassion in Action, 3201 Chantilly Drive Knoxville, TN 37917. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow officiated by Todd Haliburton.
