Elbert "Gene" Mcbee

Elbert Eugene “Gene” McBee of Knoxville passed away peacefully on May 25, 2017. He was a member of Hoitt Avenue Baptist Church, former engineer of Robertshaw Controls and retired from Tennessee Valley Authority. Preceded in death by parents Roy L. McBee and Dossie Loretta Beeler. Survivors wife of 48 years Patricia McBee, son Russell A. McBee, daughter Robin Dunn, son-in-law “Mark” Marcus Dunn, grandchildren Harrison Wyatt Dunn and Hayleigh Ashtynn Dunn, brother and sister-in-law David and Wilma Collins, nephews Robert and Joseph Collins, niece and great niece Lori and Alexis Collins and his feline companion Sheldon. Service 7 pm Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City, Rev. David Collins and Rev. Kevin Byrd officiating. Family and friends will meet 8:45 am Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment service at 9 am. family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City. www.mynattfh.com
