Eileene Hopper

Eileen Hopper age 87 of Corryton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  A devout member of Outreach Baptist Church, former employee of Sam’s Club, DeRoyal and the Standard Knitting Mills.  Preceded in death by husband, Ralph Deward Hopper, Parents, Ike and Pearl Phelps, brothers, Jay and Lowell Phelps and half-brother, Robert Cook.  Survivors: children, Angela (David) Conner, Connie (Alvin) Smith and Stan Hopper.  Grandsons; Chris and Matt Conner, Dustin (Ashley) and Josh Copeland, Great-granddaughter, Haylee Copeland, Several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the nurses of Covenent HealthCare Hospice. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. On Friday, August 11, 2023 the family will have a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a procession to follow to Big Barren Cemetery in Maynardville, TN with Rev.
